ANTI-DUMPING INVESTIGATION ON HOT ROLLED FLAT STEEL AGAINST CHINA, INDIA, JAPAN AND RUSSIA

Turkish Ministry of Trade DG for Imports, upon the complaint of the Turkish Steel Producers Association, initiated an anti-dumping investigation on hot-rolled flat steel products originating in China, India, Japan and Russia, with the Communiqué No.2023/31 published in the Official Gazette dated October 31, 2023. The investigation will examine whether the prices of imports from the mentioned countries are dumped and whether they harm the domestic production. Exporters-manufacturers and importers of the product in question are required to cooperate with the investigation authority. To do this, they must fill out a very comprehensive questionnaire within 37 days, submit all information and documents asked during the investigation, and allow an on-site verification examination. Exporter-producers have very limited time and must act very urgently.
